The canopy is one of the most chosen because it combines adrenaline, adventure and a close encounter with the nature: one of the main characters are you and, the other, the lush greenery of the tropical forest characteristic of these latitudes. What is the canopy? What is this extreme sport, between the lines, it invites you to jump with the cup of the trees? Also known as zip-lining, as its English translation, is a mechanism that uses a pulley, a steel cable and a harness for the person to slide from one place to another, giving you the feeling of flying.

Many of the sites which offers making this tour combine the canopy with ladders so you can climb to the top of the trees and from there back to launch you through the air; in others, there are also lines to rappel down to that , instead of descending by the pulley, do it down with your own strength.

Of course, to do this, you have to hire a specialized tour that will provide you with a guide to accompany you in this adventure and give you directions for the journey through the air is fun and safe.

One of the places where you will find the possibility of canopy is the Canopy Adventures Park, from where you can choose to hire a half day tour that includes trekking in the jungle. You can also do in Sayulita, which proposes a circuit of zip-lining in the jungle and another in the forest for you to choose the environment you like the most. In the Bay of Banderas, for his part, My Chaparrita Canopy offers a tour of more than two hours over two kilometres long, where you will be able to reach a height of up to 125 meters from the ground.
