This is Puerto Vallarta. The possibility to enjoy beautiful landscapes and the promise of rest on the most beautiful beaches in the Mexico region. If these objectives are part of your travel plan, then you need to visit Puerto Vallarta.

In this beautiful coastal area of the Mexican Pacific, there are beaches for all tastes and with different characteristics. Some recommended ones are:

  • Los Muertos Beach: it is the most popular and famous beach in Puerto Vallarta. It is located south of the Cuale River, which divides the best beaches in the city on either side. On this beach, tourists enjoy not only its sand but also multiple options such as restaurants, bars, and shops that are located in its surroundings. Los Muertos has its own pier, which is the arrival and departure point for different tours that can be taken around Puerto Vallarta.
  • Oro Beach: it is the perfect place for adventure activities such as paragliding, swimming, or jet skiing, which can be rented in the area. It is located to the north of the city of Puerto Vallarta and is considered one of the cleanest and safest.
  • Las Animas: with shallow waters, it is preferred by fans of water sports, such as diving, snorkeling, and kayaking, among others. To get there, you must hire a water taxi, but it is worth it as it is one of the most beautiful in the region.
  • Yelapa: located two hours from Puerto Vallarta, Yelapa is a paradisiacal beach that sits over a tiny town where rest is a priority.
  • Mismaloya: located at the far south of Puerto Vallarta, it is the famous beach where the movie The Night of the Iguana was filmed. Its forest landscape is one of its main attractions, along with the flora and fauna of the area.
  • Las Gemelas: it is not a single beach but a set of small crescent-shaped islands with white, fine sand and calm waters. It is one of the beaches chosen by water sports lovers, among which snorkeling and kayaking stand out.
  • Playa Garza Blanca: on the way to Mismaloya beach, you will find this small beach frequently visited by Puerto Vallarta residents who choose it for its paradisiacal scenery created by the combination of palm trees and clear waters.

Regardless of which one you visit first, Puerto Vallarta and its beaches are the main attraction of this beautiful coastal city. Don’t miss it!
