While there are different destinations of the Mexican Caribbean that are ideal for diving, none can compare to the beautiful Island of Cozumel. Since the year 1964, this place was recognized at the international level by the impressive structures of corals and countless species of marine animals that are found in the depths of its waters. The island is about 16 kilometers wide and 48 kilometers long and is part of the second barrier of coral reefs most extensive in the world, stretching from the north of Isla Mujeres to Belize. It is one of the most popular sites in Latin America by divers of different nationalities.

All that travel for the first time the waters of the island are amazed at the diversity of sponges, multicolored fish and coral formations that you have. The variety of species that make up this reef system is comparable only to the amazon rainforest. To the mid-TWENTIETH century the famous French explorer James Cousteau said that Cozumel was one of the 5 best places on the planet for diving and today is still regarded in this way.
