The southeastern region of Mexico is undoubtedly one of the most fantastic places in the entire world. While traveling along the Puuc Route, known as the “route of the gods”, on your trip through the Yucatán Peninsula, you can also admire two of the most magnificent caves in Mexico. One of them is the renowned Loltún, where evidence of human activity dating back up to 7,000 years has been found. The other is Oxkintok, where you will be amazed by the incredible colors displayed by the earth.
