Just A few steps from the city of Merida hides one of the treasures best kept of the Yucatan Peninsula. Dzibilchaltun, whose name in the maya language symbolizes the legend “The place where there is writing on the stones”, is an archaeological site of vital importance in the historical reconstruction of the ancient peoples of mexico.
