Its streets cobbled and the houses painted in lively colors, as well as, the murals so local that decorate the streets, will be the zip welcome to the Riviera Nayarit will be in your honor. But this is not all, the most beautiful sunsets in the tropical hues of colors of pinkish sea, will flash before your eyes showing you just how alive it is, in these lands, mother nature. As if your complete tourist offer already is not enough for you, Bucerias also has to offer you experiences that, in full contact with nature, test your courage and bravery. What an example of this? Encouraged to walk among the huge reptiles in ?The Cora?.

The Crocodile Sanctuary The Cora is defined as an environmental management unit that is dedicated to the conservation of the endemic species of Nuevo Vallarta. If you visit the place you will notice that the crocodiles are the main actors but not the only ones. There is much more to admire!

The Cora is located just south of the Flamingos Golf Course; you’ll need to enter a path totally wild, which in the rainy season tends to be a bit difficult to drive but it is worth to be travel because it will invite you to discover the tropical jungle as well as you will not be able to do it in another place.

After walking these trails, exotic you’ll find the reservation. In it there are several ponds in which the protagonists live the experience, the fearsome crocodiles. Some of them are hurt or sick and the people who work in The Cora is dedicated to look after them until every one of them is in perfect condition to go back to their natural habitats, without running any danger. I generally tend to put funny names to the reptiles that are recovering in the place!

What you can do here? Feed the crocodiles, hug them (if you dare) and enjoy his presence only a few meters of your camera. In addition to this reserve there are usually crocodiles drink that they take care about all of the little ones. Another of the attractions of The Cora is the great skull of one of these reptiles that are kept as shown.
