Scheduled to take place on November 27, 28, and 29, the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival presents itself as a great event to enjoy in the Mexican Caribbean. Thursday, November 27, the festival opens, starting at 7:00 pm, where you will see national and international talents on stage, such as Take 6, Mexican singer Pato Machete (who was one of the Mcs of the legendary group Control Machete), Jorge Vercilo, and renowned singer Colin Hunter.
On Friday, November 28, the talented bassist Hiram Gómez, with over 30 years in the industry, and the Pat Metheny Unity Band will perform: Pat Metheny’s group, a great American jazz and fusion guitarist, recognized as one of the greatest in the style.
Finally, on Saturday, November 29, it will be the turn of the great pianist and keyboardist Chick Corea, a legend in jazz and fusion, who has an extensive discography and collaborations with musicians such as Herbie Hancock. On this occasion, Chick Corea & The Vigil will be presented, a work with which he has reinvented himself.
It must be said that the quality of this festival is indisputable, as it offers the public three days of music, and as if that weren’t enough, with free admission!
