Crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sands and sparkling, and paradise islands. A natural environment unique, a luxury tourism destination, a city embraced by enigmatic maya mysteries, a cosmopolitan city that awaits you with the best so that you can enjoy a luxury vacation. Of course! I’m talking about Cancun, the jewel of the Mexican Caribbean.

As we well know, this city charming is positioned as the destination more attractive and challenging of all the Eastern Mexico. In Cancun, life is a party, the adventure activities are endless and the fun has no limits.

There are many recreational options and water sports that they offer its exotic beaches, but scuba diving is the activity par excellence in Cancun. It could not be otherwise with such natural settings!

Did you know that the Mexican Caribbean, hidden, in the depths of the sea, the coral reefs most beautiful in the world? These form part of the second barrier reef largest on the planet. The same begins at Isla Contoy, Yucatan Peninsula, and ends in Honduras. The set arreciferal is known as Mesoamerican.

The life in these habitats is really impressive: dozens of species of colorful reefs, more than 300 species of mollusks and 500 species of tropical fish. Discover this treasure of underwater will be unforgettable!

In addition to this impressive range, the waters of the coast of Cancun are characterized by their transparency and crystallinity: the diving areas can be from 12 meters to depths of more than 30. Some of the best venues in underwater of the Caribbean sea are: Banderas, Chitales, The Shortish, San Toribio, San Miguel, La Boya de los Locos and the reef Aristos to the east of the city.

Another alternative to enjoy the scuba diving in Cancun are cenotes sacred. These underground rivers run, between caves and sinuses, filling all of life with your step. You’ll be able to encourage you to explore caves, caverns and tunnels, submerged under the waters of caribbean turquoise, full of stalactites and stalagmites. Here the visibility is more than 60 meters of depth! The cave of the sharks is one of the most challenging and seductive for those who wish to experience the ultimate adrenaline under the water. Las Mojarras, Siete Bocas and Boca Puma are some of the cenotes closest to the city.

There is No doubt that the treasures hidden in the waters of caribbean are the world’s most famous and the most sought after by lovers of diving and snorkeling! As if this were not enough, the government authorities have initiated a mega project of conservation of the reef; this initiative was accompanied by the opening of ?The Underwater Museum? which, currently, consists of over 480 life-size sculptures made of clay.

The exoticism and the outstanding beauty of the coral reefs will adhere to the art of the pre-hispanic, that is reborn under the turquoise waters reminding us what are our origins and who were the first owners of these lands.

There is No aquatic world more beautiful and diverse than the one that is hidden under the waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Do you still have any doubt?
