The Yucatan Peninsula is known for its beautiful beaches and all-inclusive resorts, but the region has also gained a reputation for its delicious food offerings.

If you are vacationing at an all-inclusive resort in Isla Mujeres, you should definitely try the local fish dish that has visitors asking for more. The five-mile-long island is surrounded by clear water and is one the best places to indulge in fresh seafood.

Ceviche is cold seafood salad that is cooked using citrus instead of heat. The acid from the fruit essentially pickles the dish, by denaturing the proteins in the meat. The cut up fish salad will marinate for about 30 minutes before being served.

Head over to Casa de los Sueños and enjoy a delicious meal, complete with shrimp, avocado, onion, tomato and olive served with bread and chips.

Take full advantage of all the seafood offerings that are available along the coast of the Mexican Caribbean while enjoying the beaches, nightlife and history that the region has to offer.
